I enjoyed drawing as a child and finally decided to take it to the next step after graduating from college.  I started by taking an oil painting class that was offered by Nell Caton, a certified Bob Ross instructor.  I did several paintings using the Bob Ross style but my drawing skills were lacking.  I enrolled in classes taught by Pat Hart and learned to draw.  I learned to draw and paint with pencils, pen and ink, soft pastels, and just a little with oil and watercolors. 

Unfortunately, I moved away and quit taking classes.  Eventually, I got busy with "life" and quit drawing. 

I've recently started drawing again and am learning more and more each time I draw.  I draw for fun and the joy of seeing something that I've drawn that looks realistic.
